 <\/p>\n

The Great Way is not difficult for those who have no preferences.<\/span>
\n When love and hate are absent it will reveal itself and everything will be clear.<\/span>
\n Make the smallest distinction however and you are as far from it as heaven is from earth.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nTo realize the truth, hold no opinions for or against anything.<\/span>
\n Like and dislike are the disease of the mind.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nWhen the deep meaning (the Way) is not known, intrinsic peace of mind is disturbed to no avail.<\/span>
\n The Way is perfect like the vast universe, with nothing lacking or in excess<\/span>
\n It is due to choosing to accept or reject, that you do not see the true nature of things as they are.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nDo not live in the entanglements of external things;<\/span>
\n Do not get lost in inner feelings of emptiness.<\/span>
\n Be still in the one-ness of things,<\/span>
\n And the error of dualism disappears.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nWhen you try to stop activity to achieve quietude,<\/span>
\n That very effort fills you with activity.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nAs long as you retain dualism, remaining in one extreme or another,<\/span>
\n You will never know the One-ness of the Way.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nThose not in harmony with the Way,<\/span>
\n Fail in activity and passivity, in assertion and denial.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nDeny the reality of things, you miss their reality; <\/span>
\n Assert the reality of things, you miss their reality.<\/span>
\n The more you talk or think about it the further you are from the truth.<\/span>
\n Stop talking and thinking about it and everything will be revealed to you.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nTo return to the root is to find the essence,<\/span>
\n To pursue appearances is to miss the source.<\/span>
\n At the moment of enlightenment you go beyond appearances and emptiness.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nChanges that seem to occur in the world, appear real only because of ignorance.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nDo not search for the truth, just cease having opinions.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nDo not hold to dualistic views, avoid such habits carefully.<\/span>
\n If there is even a trace of this and that or right and wrong, the mind is lost in confusion.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nAlthough all dualities arise from the One,<\/span>
\n Do not cling even to the One.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nWhen the mind exists undisturbed in the Way,<\/span>
\n Everything is without fault, nothing can offend it.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nWhen things can no longer be faulty and discriminations cease, it is as if there are no things.<\/span>
\n When the mind can no longer be disturbed in this way, it is as if there is no mind.<\/span>
\n When thought-objects vanish, the thinking-subject vanishes.<\/span>
\n When the mind vanishes, objects vanish.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nThe arising of other gives rise to self;<\/span>
\n Giving rise to self generates the other.<\/span>
\n Know these seemingly two facets as one emptiness.<\/span>
\n In this emptiness the two are indistinguishable,<\/span>
\n And each contains in itself the whole.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nWhen no discrimination is made between this and that,<\/span>
\n How can you be tempted to prejudice and opinion, to prefer one to another?<\/span><\/p>\n


\nTo live in the Great Way is all-embracing, not easy, not difficult.<\/span>
\n But those with limited views are fearful and irresolute;<\/span>
\n The faster they hurry, the slower they go,<\/span>
\n And clinging (attachment) cannot be limited, they go too far.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nEven an attachment to enlightenment is to go astray.<\/span>
\n Just let things be in their own way as they are,<\/span>
\n And there will be neither coming nor going.<\/span>
\n Be in harmony with the Way, <\/span>
\n And you will be free of disturbances.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nTied by thoughts, you lose the truth, become unclear, weary, unwell.<\/span>
\n When not well the mind is troubled.<\/span>
\n Then why cling to or reject anything,<\/span>
\n Why make distinctions and judgments?<\/span><\/p>\n


\nIf you wish to move in the Way,<\/span>
\n do not dislike even the world of senses and ideas.<\/span>
\n Indeed to accept them fully is identical with true Enlightenment.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nThe wise strive to no goals, but the foolish fetter themselves.<\/span>
\n There is one Dharma, not many;<\/span>
\n Distinctions arise from the clinging needs of the ignorant.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nTo use discriminating mind to seek the Way,<\/span>
\n Is the greatest of all mistakes.<\/span>
\n Peaceful and troubled derive from illusions of thinking.<\/span>
\n With enlightenment there is no liking or disliking.<\/span>
\n All dualities come from ignorant inference.<\/span>
\n They are like dreams or flowers in the air, the foolish try to grasp them.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nGain and loss, right and wrong,<\/span>
\n Such thoughts must finally be abolished at once.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nIf the eye never sleeps, all dreams will naturally cease.<\/span>
\n If the mind makes no discriminations, all things are as they are, of One-essence.<\/span>
\n To understand the mystery of this One-essence is to be released from all entanglements.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nWhen all things are seen equally without differentiation,<\/span>
\n Your timeless Self-essence is achieved and is One with the Way of the universe as it is.<\/span>
\n No explanations, comparisons or analogies are possible in this causeless, relationless state.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nConsider the movement in the stationary, and the stationary in motion,<\/span>
\n Both movement and stillness disappear.<\/span>
\n When such dualities cease to exist, even Oneness itself cannot exist. <\/span>
\n This ultimate state is not bound by rules and descriptions and none can be applied.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nFor the unified mind at one with the Way, all self-centered striving ceases.<\/span>
\n Doubts and irresolutions vanish and Truth is in you. <\/span>
\n With a single stroke you are freed from bondage.<\/span>
\n Nothing clings to you and you hold to nothing.<\/span>
\n All is void, clear, and self-illuminating, with no need to exert the mind.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nHere thought, feeling, knowledge, and imagination are of no value.<\/span>
\n In this world of \u201csuchness\u201d there is neither self nor other.<\/span>
\n To come directly into harmony with such reality, only express non-duality.<\/span>
\n When doubt arises simply say \u201cNot two.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n


\nIn this non-duality nothing is separate, nothing is excluded.<\/span>
\n The enlightened at all times and places personally enter and realize this Truth.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nThis Truth is beyond space and time,<\/span>
\n Beyond extension or diminution.<\/span>
\n One instant is eternity, a single thought a thousand years,<\/span>
\n Not here, not there \u2013 not this, not that,<\/span>
\n Everything, everywhere, always, the entire universe right before you.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nInfinitely large, infinitely small, no difference,<\/span>
\n For definitions have vanished; no boundaries can be discerned.<\/span>
\n So too with \u201cexistence\u201d and \u201cnon-existence.\u201d<\/span>
\n Do not waste time in doubts and arguments, attempting to find the Way,<\/span>
\n Or attempt to use logic, thought and language to comprehend or find the Way.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nOne thing all things move among and intermingle without distinction.<\/span>
\n To live this realization is to be without anxiety about perfection or non-perfection. <\/span>
\n To live this faith is the road to non-duality.<\/span>
\n Non-duality is one with trusting mind.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nWords! Words!<\/span>
\n The Way is beyond language.<\/span>
\n Words never could, can not now, and never will describe the Way.<\/span><\/p>\n
